Iniciativa IDEA abre la inscripción para su tercer Foro, con la participación de speakers y especialistas de todo el mundo, a fin de incentivar la creatividad, la innovación y los nuevos medios sobre derechos reproductivos.

El Foro está organizado por la Iniciativa IDEA y el laboratorio de innovación social de Planned Parenthood Global para encontrar soluciones creativas e innovadoras a los asuntos críticos de la salud y los derechos reproductivos en América Latina. Se llevará a cabo del 21 al 23 de abril de 2021 y es totalmente gratuito.

Por primera vez en modalidad virtual y sólo por invitación para quienes se postulen, la tercera edición del foro abordará los avances de la transformación digital reuniendo a especialistas en tecnología, publicidad, medios digitales y emprendimiento de impacto social, e incluirá, desde paneles, hasta laboratorios de ideas, pasando por talleres y pitch sessions, ofreciendo un sinnúmero de espacios para el aprendizaje, la inspiración y el networking.

El primer foro se llevó a cabo en 2017, en Quito, Ecuador y contó con la participación de 125 personas en 11 países. La última edición, realizada en 2019 en Antigua Guatemala, contó con la participación récord de 850 personas de 14 países, 47 empresas colaboradoras y 42 speakers.

“El Foro IDEA es el encuentro para quienes se atreven a imaginar lo imposible. Una experiencia única de interactuar con líderes de la innovación que están creando nuevas soluciones a los desafíos que enfrentan millones de personas en América latina”, destaca Ramón Torre Cañal, Director de la Iniciativa IDEA.

Uno de los proyectos impulsados por la Iniciativa IDEA en México fue Ligue Político, una aplicación de tecnología cívica para informar sobre la posición de tomadores de decisión respecto a los derechos sexuales y reproductivos. La evolución de la plataforma como repositorio de datos verificados permitió generar una fuente confiable y ampliamente consultada por las y los jóvenes para ejercer un voto informado. Ligue Político fue uno de los proyectos ganadores de los Premios IDEA 2017.

Iniciativa IDEA es un laboratorio de innovación social para los derechos reproductivos en América Latina de Planned Parenthood Global, cuyo propósito es impulsar un nuevo ecosistema formado por los sectores de la publicidad, la tecnología, los medios digitales y el emprendimiento de impacto social que exploran la creatividad, la innovación y el talento para generar soluciones a los grandes desafíos para la salud y derechos reproductivos en América latina.

Planned Parenthood Global es una organización sin fines de lucro que durante más de 45 años ha estado trabajando por la salud y los derechos reproductivos en América latina y alrededor del mundo, a través de alianzas estratégicas con múltiples actores para contribuir a un movimiento poderoso a nivel global.
